Symbolized by a lotus with twelve petals and relating to the color green, the Heart Chakra supports the subtleties of love, compassion, generosity, kindness, caring and respect for others. Being the central chakra, it has a balancing influence and forms a bridge to the upper and lower three. A balanced heart chakra allows easy communication and interchange with others. Goodwill and harmony effortlessly overcome selfish and egotistical attitudes. The beauty of life opens up and the world appears friendly and harmonious.
When the Heart Chakra is unbalanced, you may feel physical illness, extreme jealousy, fear of intimacy, suspicion and paranoid isolation. You will give to those who do not deserve it and share with those who do not want it. You may have disorders of the heart, lungs, breasts, thymus or arms. Another sign that your Heart Chakra might need some TLC is premature aging, upper back pain, circulation problems or asthma.
The person centered in this chakra will be aligned with balance and finding the middle way or the natural rhythm. They will be motivated by Love.
When the Heart Chakra is balanced, you feel compassion toward yourself and others. There is a deep love of self and understanding that resonates within the universal energy of LOVE. We start to experience an inner peace and a strong immune system!
We need to take a time out and connect with our Heart Chakra through breath, Kundalini Yoga, meditation and chanting mantras that realign us with our higher-selves. Remind yourself that food is medicine and nourish yourself consciously. Drinking an elixir of high-vibrational foods to support the Heart Chakra will awaken your Heart Chakra and bring more love into your day.

Recipe for Green Goddess Smoothie:
2 handfuls of Organic Power Greens
3-4 small stalks of Celery, sliced
1 handful of Cilantro
1 handful of Parsley
1/2 of a Cucumber, sliced
1 handful of Ginger chunks
1/2 of Avocado, scooped
sprinkle of Nutritional Yeast Seasoning
1 Lemon, peeled
sprinkle of Pepper & Himalayan Salt
sprinkle of Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning blend
start with 3/4 cup of water, add 1/4 if needed
1. Put all ingredients into Vitamix (or blender) and start on slow.
2. Stop and mix to help blend if necessary.
3. Increase speed and add 1/4 cup of water if necessary.
4. ENJOY! Take in the moment when making and enjoy the aroma and freshness. Allow every cell in your body to feel a connection with this vibration of energy! Embrace the color green and feel your Heart Chakra glowing, happy and abundant. Feel receptive and full of love!
