Summer Solstice | New Moon
The power of this Full Moon combined with the Summer Solstice will energize whatever you decided to put into motion.
The Summer Solstice represents our Ascension to the great father spirit, a day celebrated since ancient times.
It's a time to dedicate to Sacred Rituals and Ceremonies to bring in heightened energy of the divine, connect deeper with nature, cherish life and symbolize's the attainment of Spiritual Enlightenment. The Summer Solstice represents a time for you to reflect on yourself, and also for you to realize what you need to do to meet your long-term goals and do the things that suit you.
The Summer Solstice is aligned with the element of fire, passion, will, & drive.
This is the time to seek right action and to choose to walk in alignment with your beliefs.
Now is the time for you to look at the grander scope of your life and spiritual path and take note of what is out of alignment:
What doesn't serve you?
What things do you tell yourself or others that are not in alignment with what you preach?
What things do you do that do not serve your personal and spiritual growth?"
This is the time to start something new, just as the Earth is with a new season.
What do you want to plant the seeds for, to give birth to, to have manifest in your life?
How are you willing to take disciplined action to make it happen?
What are you willing to change, give up and push through to move forward into a new landscape?
The power of this New Moon will energize whatever you put into motion.
It is a feminine time, but supported by the masculine.
A perfect combination of balance between the Sun and the Moon. So, we honor both of them on this day.
The combination of the New Moon falling on the Summer Solstice is a heightened energy that we can cultivate higher learning as we surrender to a Sacred Ritual of ancient times to bring awareness, clarity, and Ascension! The power of the mantra RAMA, Ra meaning sun and Ma meaning moon in sanskrit.
Try this energizing breath technique to connect to the power of the Summer Sun.
What is the Difference Between Ritual and Ceremony?
Ritual and ceremony are both ways of calling in spiritual energies in order to communicate with the Divine.
What is a Ritual?
A ritual is something that is done the same way over and over, passed down from generation to generation like a sacred formula.
This repetition of words, gestures, and intentions create a resonance through time, like ripples moving through time past and time present, linking all other sacred circles who have performed this ritual together.
Imagine this beautiful link with our ancestors who have connected in the same way, with the same or similar ritual. This gives rituals great POWER!
Rituals have nothing to do with Religion, but are just part of your daily life.
Examples of Rituals:
taking your favorite yoga class on Saturdays
going to Church
brushing your teeth
feeding the cat
walking the dog
waking up at certain time
Most of life becomes a ritual, but it's time to pay close attention and make deliberate choices that come from an awakened mind and support your spiritual growth.
What is a Ceremony?
Ceremony, however is an ever-changing, living vehicle that is never done the same way twice.
For example, when I start an event such as a Full Moon, the beginning part is a ritual since I always tune in with the Adi Mantra, call in the Four directions, four angels, and our higher divine I AM Presence.
The rest is a free flow of movement, different breath techniques and mantras, which is the ceremony. So you see, they can be combos as well!
Both rituals and ceremony have the power to link us to all other circles that have ever existed, strengthening each with our prayers.
Now with the entire country going LIVE, we are able to enhance this energy even greater since more and more people are tuning into the frequency and opening their sacred hearts in ceremony. Examples of Ceremonies:
yoga & moon events
solstices & equinoxes
Rituals are more formal, and Ceremony is more fluid.
Embrace Your Spiritual Power with the 8 Holy Days of the Year
There are Eight Holy Days of the Year, these are called the directions of time and they correlate to the four seasons of the year.
Summer Solstice is one of the eight holy days which is why we celebrate, open our bodies, breathe deep, and set our intentions.
The summer is when the plants come into full harvest and we can build our dreams from the seeds we planted in the spring time equinox.
The moon cycles also have their own rythmn of moving through their phases which creates electro magnetic energies which is why it can be so potent and a time to celebrate with sacred rituals & ceremonies.
The question to ponder is why have we stopped celebrating the earth and moons milestones? Why is this not taught in school and how do we come back to our true authentic selves?
The power of Spiritual Ceremonies like the Summer Solstice and Full Moon ( especially when they land together) is a time when the alignment between the earth and sun allows the veils between the worlds to grow very thin.
These days act as portals that allows us to step between worlds and gives us the power to more easily contact the other diminsions.
Pretty special, isn't it?
So what do you say?
See you there!
