These circles are not associated with a singular path or religion, but rather, an inclusive coming together with women from all paths. We all come from different spiritual/cultural backgrounds and gather around the ideas of: Sisterhood (having each others backs, empowering one another), a respect for the earth (wildness, turning to nature as a teacher) & co-creation (the understanding that just as we co-create our experience in circle, so do we co-create life on earth). We also tend to be a heart-centered bunch, lots of laughter & tears.
Moon Circles are a great time to refine and purify your mind. It’s a time to befriend your soul. The Full Moon & New Moon enhances meditation, prayer and allows you to clean the subconscious mind and mega-multiply the power of prayers.
These are intimate gatherings of women who come together to experience Kundalini Yoga & Meditation, devine mantra and chanting, and a sharing circle for personal reflection, and voicing intentions for manifestation in the energy of the current moon cycle.
“ It is comforting to know there is a place to come to where you will laugh, sometimes cry, and always be showered with positivity and support from the moment you set foot in the room – even if it is your first time there. It is a true community.”
Sacred Sisterhood Circles are held on the Full & New Moon between the lunar cycles, as this is the optimal time to focus on endings and beginnings. In sharing circle, we reflect on what we have learned in the previous month, and attune to how we can make the most of the coming month. During these cycle of the moon we are even more sensitive to receiving insight and perceptions through honoring our inner gifts.
Yogi Bhajan taught that our biofeedback moves from the New Moon to Full Moon, and then from Full Moon to New Moon in a cycle. Using the Moon to guide us is simple and the cycles of the moon have a special relationship with our inner higher consciousness. During the phase of full or new moon it’s easier to access and eliminate deep emotional blocks.
